After spending a year teaching Drama and Theatre Studies at Dauntsey’s School in Wiltshire where he directed Jesus Christ Superstar and Pygmalion, Ben trained as an actor at the brilliant Rep College in Reading. Since graduating, his favourite starring roles have been: Pilate in Jesus Christ Superstar; Fagin in Oliver!, Deeley in Old Times, Daddy Warbucks in Annie, Emcee in Cabaret, The Advocate in A Dream Play, General St Pe in Waltz of the Toreadors and The Incubus in The Giants of Albion. Ben has just directed Waiting for Godot with Amber Productions at the Kenton Theatre in Henley, and the production is soon to go on tour. Ben is delighted to have become a Ghost and can’t wait for Into the Woods.
