Craig’s
first experience on the stage was aged 10, dressed as a St
Trinian’s schoolgirl in the Basingstoke Gang Show! He
then spent the next 15 years resting, before being persuaded
to be a cowboy in Debut Theatre Company’s production
of Calamity Jane. He then played John Arscott / Watkin Tench
in Our Country’s Good with Ember Players at Walton Playhouse,
and Mr Wickham in Pride And Prejudice with Claygate Amateur
Dramatics Society. His first lead was with Debut Theatre Company
when he took the Tom Hanks role of Josh Baskin in the BIG:
The Musical also at the Rhoda McGaw, where he had to spend
all his time acting as a thirteen year old boy pretending
to be a thirty year old man!
He has since played a cowboy in Oklahoma, Frank in the premiere
of Silver’s Ghost at Guildford’s Electric Theatre,
and will shortly be performing various parts in the musical
Personals, most notably a sexually frustrated high school
teenager and a gay mamma’s boy.
Craig is extremely enthusiastic about appearing in Into The
Woods and immensely looking forward to the production.
