Clare
was bitten by the acting bug at a young age, from her beginnings
as ‘The River’ in a ‘contemporary’
nativity play to Miss Adelaide in Collingwood’s Guys
and Dolls.
A few LAMDA exams, GCSE’s and A levels later Clare
read English, Film and Media at The University of Stirling.
Whilst ‘studying’ she was an avid member, and
later president, of their under-funded but passionate drama
society who produced The Importance of Being Earnest and Abigail’s
Party and took Philadelphia, Here I come to the Nice Theatre
Festival…ooh la lah! Upon graduating she joined CAMUS,
first playing Chava in Fiddler on the Roof followed by a backing
singer in Chess. She is thrilled and overwhelmed to be playing
the Baker’s Wife in this production of Into the Woods.
