Melanie has been a member of Ghosts for about 15 years, and has also dabbled with the Herald Players - roles with both companies have been many and varied ranging from lead to chorus to prompt. She is in her element playing juicy character parts that don't involve to much dancing and singing, and is therefore very happy to be portraying an unhinged axe wielding maniac.

Melanie has also had small walk-on parts in The Bill, Eastenders, Inspector Morse, and various other one-off dramas for television. Her day job is as an operating department practitioner at the Royal Surrey County Hospital, and if you bump into her at the bar she'd like a beer!
