A member of Ghosts for 9 years, Vanessa has done many shows with the group. Favourite parts include Lola in the world première of Lola; Gloria (Return to the Forbidden Planet); Chesty (Saucy Jack & the Space Vixens) and most recently the totally insane Bertha Gunn, (Treasure Island the Panto). She has also been a soloist for the annual Ghosts choral concerts, including Mozart's Requiem, Vivaldi's Gloria and Rossini's Petite Messe Solennelle.

Vanessa has also performed with other groups in the area (GTG, Curtain Raisers, Upstagers). She likes an overall view of theatre, so works backstage - crewing and rigging, has Musically Directed for Ghosts, and is on the committee.

Outside theatre she works as an HR Administrator for an F1 Racing Team. In any spare time she sings at weddings, christenings and charity concerts, and is also treasurer and first aider for Cobham St John Ambulance.
